World War Z (2013)

Hitting big in its first week of showing, the World War Z (2013) movie globally infects the minds of the viewers. Still increasing dramatically in sales, the film entertained people with its version of Max Brooks Novel. The film hasn’t escaped the critic’s opinion as well as the viewer’s point of view. Searching and reading from the net and watching and hearing from TV and radios, here are some of the points that made the movie a great one as well as pointing out some weakness.

Brad Pit performance

An excellent showmanship of acting was once again shown by this veteran actor. His role as a retired United Nation Official and summon to help the government to understand and cure this zombie pandemic, was greatly portrayed. We can expect nothing less from Brad Pit which in this movie has shown a convincing portrayal of a husband and a father of two children.

 A highly expensive FX

The trailer from its pre-showing promotions tells how expensive the effects of the movie. Watching the movie, viewers will probably tell themselves that the film really gives out a huge amount of money in its production. The animation and 3D’s are done precisely and detailed. Kids can really enjoy the scare and thrill of the film.

Curiosity on how the novel will be theatrically adapted

The novel has a multitude of personality to tell and lots of third world economic and political instability to show. Those who read and know the book are curious on how the movie adaptation will deliver this story and so they take time to visit the cinemas and see for themselves. Some of the critics stated that the whole story revolves only in the character of Brad Pit, leaving other significant character as associates only of the story. The mission is to find the answer to solve the pandemic. Pit has successfully done the task even though lots of bad things happened and he manages to survive. The film focuses on Gerry Lane Mission but forgetting other characters and issues.

Overall the movie can be said as a valid candidate as an epic contributor in these modern days zombie films. It has the gore, the thrill, the actions, and the mayhem that forms a great zombie story. Of course not to all people will give support to this film but many families can really enjoy watching this film especially for those who had kids.
