The Writers’ View:

This film will make your pulse up that fast, informing you that it is a horror film. Sufficiently interestingly, it maintains that pulse up all through the film in spite of revealing so much in the beginning. The thought of something that may only emerge when it is dark is bound to make you ready for a jump scare whenever it appears. The characters in this film were all good and delivered their acting good, it was well performed and written, and the plot has some emotion and weight on it, plus the solid finale that works really great. There are still some flaws, but, all in all you give everything you wanted from a jump scare film. After watching, you might not want to turn your lights off before going to bed, so be sure to sleep with someone else beside you!
