This is a Spanish movie and this is a true story that tells the tale of the crowd of aging women from the 1970s which form a crowd to research psychic phenomena around Madrid. The movie director is Carlos Therón with the writers Marta Buchaca and Fernando Navarro. This movie is made possible by the executive producers Elena Calvo de Mora and José Luis Jiménez with the producer Kiko Martínez.

Story Outline
In the late 1990s, in Spain, the three middle-aged ladies investigated that the paranormal occurrences are being place to the tests when Father Giron, their leader, had gone missing. This is being inspired by that real Hepta Group.
Writer’s Observation
The premise for the movie is pretty good and also the characters are all well depicted and are interesting. The way they captured and the hair style era gave the audience the Golden Girl vibes in some reasons. The horror elements had been mediocre and were made for TV caliber, like the PG13 horror movie. There are so many cheesy in here and the séance scenarios were fine and you will surely enjoy the final showdown of the movie. This is just one cheesy and very soft horror type of movie.
Fenomenas or the phenomena are one Spanish netflix movie which is overall a pretty good movie. It has the best mix of horror and comedy too, though there are more comic shown in some parts. This movie is had been everything about the three sisters which the viewers do not know them at first, Paz, Gloria and Sagrario. Gloria is the one who can communicate with the deceased people. All the three women like to drink and smoke after their father had been place in the hospital due to some odd happenings. Gloria took her sisters back into the house in her attempt to talk and discover who did that to his father, and this is where lots of comic elements took place, but it all becomes quite good.
The narrative tried to balance humor with horror drama. The premise is interesting too. However the execution stayed half engaging. Their female leads had been fun in the most part of the movie. The film gave on humor but then lacked some scares. The imminent danger was not properly established apart from the lurid background score. The movie dynamics that the trio allocated and their conflicts would had been better when there was more from their past.
The movie does get intriguing to the end with their reveal. But then it felt late too and as a whole, the movie is a fun and a good to watch and this has been acted well too. Overall, this is an average addition into the genre of horror movies with some funny scenes.
