Akira Tendo, the 24-year-old staff worker of a very exploitative marketing firm, discovered himself trapped in the meaningless and routine life. He lacks the motivation and the drive after those three years of foul treatment. When the zombie apocalypse unexpectedly beat Tokyo, everything had been turned upside down. As an alternative of succumbing to fear, Akira saw this as the chance to experience life into the fullest rate instead of settle for his depressing, humdrum existence.
He choose to make the bucket list of all things he wishes to make before becoming one zombie just in order to only not encounter it firsthand but then also to illustrate that he’s still well and alive. This decision provides him the newfound sense of reason. Others soon joined him in the journey: Kencho, the old college friend of Akira who searched to be the stand-up comedian; then, Shizuka, the blunt and sullen woman who is seeking to also escape her abusive life; and then Beatrix, the German college graduate who is infatuated with the Japanese culture. With all of them at his part, Akira embarked on the number of frequently bizarre and exciting excursions all throughout the zombie-infested Japan, glancing on the off bucket list stuffs that ranges from the simple pleasures such as eating at coslty restaurants free of charge to a more extravagant pursuits such as visiting haunted houses and going on the roller coasters.
The group comes across with some other survivors also who have their personal motivations to survive as they are making their means across the state and its crowd of flesh-eating zombie. Along the trip, they forge strange alliances, face their personal anxieties, and discover the significance of friendship and of the human spirit’s capability of persevering in front of difficulty.
Writer’s Observation
This movie is not really a zombie film in its common sense that everyone always watched. The Z’s in the movie responses to sometime human and to the sound. Sometimes they do not even follow the group at all cost. They walked in silent and the zombies just ignored them. And what reason do they see in this movie. If they’re hungry for the human flesh, they must follow the human scent, brains or blood. The movie had some good points regarding spirit and that’s the major part for this movie. Zombies are the smoke screen, and they place it on so that it can be one of major condition among the others that gel this crowd together. If you’ll just wish to see a Japanese zombie version, then this is the movie. They are not totally similar as you might wish it. The funny thing here is that, you will not see that they used guns or knives to fight the zombies. They use their bare hands and that is really foolish. Sorry, but you will not miss anything in this movie!
