The Writers’ View:

This is a very fantastic train ride. The creative ideas with the economical personality setups did not need much intense top-down moralization. The movie is a straight-up apocalypse flick of zombies coming in group from all directions. The viewers’ were already aware of the archetypal characters – the brave, the coward, the pregnant, the heroic one, the youth in love, and so on. The enjoyment is in thrilling who will live and who will die first. This train had some of the colorful characters. The drive is terrific and all problem-solving were created, because some were not seen before. The personality arc of the main artist from being a narcissistic, anti-hero to becoming a titular hero is very effective.
